The company was established in the year 1947 as Noor Auctioneers by Late Abdul Rahman Khan.
Furniture that belonged to the britishers was auctioned by us to the Locals
The Auction used to take place on Sundays between 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon.
In the year 1956 The company’s name was changed to Noor & Co where the company had its own furniture manufacturing unit for sale and renting the furniture for daily or monthly use to Offices, homes, lodgers of Indians and anglo Indians. We were the sole suppliers of furniture to government offices and government guest houses. Rosewood was used to make the furniture in our company.
We had a showroom of 2400 sq feet where our furniture made of pure Rosewood and Teakwood was displayed.
At present we have a newly constructed showroom of 8600 sq feet of 5 floors where we have displayed all our furniture that includes cots, wardrobes, sofa sets, dining tables , centre tables ,mattresses and much more purely made of teak wood , rubber wood , plywood, sal wood , accacia wood and fully upholstered sofa sets made of neem wood & high quality foam and cloth.
